Quizar

The inspiration for Quizar came from outer space quasar (luminous active galactic nucleus) and the will
to embody my attraction to space in a unique form.
The design process included a search for strong basics lines that will create its movement and define its shape.
The motivation of using this unconventional color palette is to make this everyday product stand out.
Due to being the furthest apart on the color wheel, orange and teal are often used in movie posters, and are said to quickly grab the viewer’s attention.
Various foam prototypes were developed to understand the proportions and experiment the ergonomics.
